Corage is Patricia Motta’s 2017 winter collection, inspired by the daring mix of textures and handcraft. Keeping an expert
eye on the contemporary woman, the designer puts together tricot, sweatshirt fabric and jeans along with leather, her prime material.
Corseted waists playing with simple cuts are also seen in this collection, combining femininity and comfort. The mix of different styles is also a strong bet for the winter: the rock and roll edge of zippers and studs, the fine touch of crochet and
embroideries as well as the modernity of sweatshirt fabric.
The backstitches in leather ribbons that interweave the pieces with different shapes and colors were made by local artisans (from Minas Gerais). Red, gray, green, camel, black and off-white are the palette colors. The knitted plaid in all these hues is used as a rich detail conveying a very classic elegance.
